Carla Abellana had no trace of sadness in a recent online interview despite her marital issue with her husband Tom Rodriguez.
It is obvious that apart from blooming Carla, she is now very busy with many things such as business venture and showbiz career.
It was also noticed by the hosts who praised the beauty of the actress.
At the very beginning of the interview, the Kapuso actress said that she was happy to be interviewed apart from her personal life.
Carla said, “It’s good to be talking about something else [apart from] from work, or show business, isn’t it, or personal life.”
Carla was interviewed on Spotlight, the Daily Tribune’s online talk show, on March 3, 2022
Hosts Dina Ventura and Kim Sancha first greeted Carla for the past two years.
Like many, life goes on for Carla.
“It’s been very challenging, the pandemic …” the actress began.
“It’s global. It has been challenging for all of us.
“But we struggle, we cope, don’t we? We adjust to the changes.
“There are so many changes in our lives, globally.
“But we have to continue to strive. We have to persevere, yeah. ”
He said of himself, “Very busy, though stressful, you know, the fight continues, it seems like that.”
Amid the divorce issue after their wedding in October 2021, Carla and Tom remain tight-lipped.
In one part of the interview, Carla joined the “Would You Rather” game, where she would choose one of two choices.
When asked if she preferred to understand animals or talk to plants, Carla chose the former.
“Animals … given that,” said Carla, an animal lover.
“I would rather hear animals talk. In fact, not only that, I would love to be able to talk to animals, like Dr. Dolittle …
“I’m an animal lover, I’m an animal welfare advocate.
“Sometimes, I always say, or joke around, ‘I love animals more than people,'” Carla followed with a laugh.
He was also asked what he preferred: to inspire others or be inspired.
Carla replied, “Honestly, I’m a people-pleaser. I would rather inspire others. I also believe that is my destiny.
“That’s why I’m here — be able to inspire others in whatever way.
“Use the talents that God has given you. Motivate other people, and be a good influence.
“It was very fulfilling for a person.”
It was also mentioned in the interview that Carla is already preparing for the lock-in taping for her next teleserye next month.
But other than that, he is also focused now as co-founder and corporate social responsibility (CSR) director of FineLyf, an e-commerce business.
The said business is an online shop of local and imported gifts and essential products.
Carla built it with her business partners.
Carla was assigned to be the CSR director who manages the charity aspect of their business.
Carla said, “I was given the task to handpick several charity causes that are close to my heart.”
Carla also explained that she is now combining her showbiz career and being an entrepreneur.
“Because in my line of work, you can’t set time for, let’s say taping and then for [business]… it has to be a bit of a combination.
“At times, when we are at lock-in tapings, in between I do some work through my laptop or cellphone, as much as possible.
“I want to devote certain hours, days just for FineLyf or for TV.
Merged in a way. In between scenes. Inserting work, ”said the Kapuso actress, who is preoccupied with many things.
