Quezon City Police District (QCPD) personnel arrested the suspect in the shooting that killed a barangay councilor and wounded two others.
QCPD Director Police BGen. Remus Medina is the suspect Jono Villarin.
According to Medina, Villarin was caught in a follow-up operation in Tumana St., Brgy. New East after being pointed out by his fellow fraternity who was also a witness to the crime.
The witness felt sorry for the victims so he pointed out his friend brad.
It was learned that on March 17, three members were just patrolling when the suspect was suddenly shot.
He was angry because the guards often scolded him for fixing the basketball game.
The victims were still in the hospital but Anabelle Espinosa died on arrival.
Seferino Laxamana and Merlita Cabagas continue to recover.
