CITY-The Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office has arrested the missing mayoral candidate of Tagbina, Surigao del Sur, Vice Mayor Antonio ‘Tony’ Adlao and is still being interrogated to find out what really happened and who was responsible for his disappearance after police found him in Bunwan town, Agusan del Sur at 1:50 p.m.
This Monday morning, Ka Sandara Sidlakan, self-proclaimed spokesperson of the rebel New People’s Army (NPA) Surigao del Sur, strongly denied the allegation of the Adlao family that they abducted him for allegedly not giving them the permit to campaign fee.
In an exclusive interview, Ka Sandara revealed that only drama was done with the Adlao family especially since the local campaign period has already begun.
Investigations allegedly showed that the vice-mayor was in good hands and was still on the move, so the only drama was reported about his disappearance and they were the ones held responsible as well as his political opponent.
Ka Sandara added that there was no reason for them to abduct him and take him to the mountains because he was too weak to walk.
