District Collector Erastus Sandino B. Austria, at the helm of the Bureau of Customs – Port of Clark, convened with the Clark Security Advisory Council led by the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) on August 24, 2023, at the Clark Visitors Center, marking a crucial step toward fortifying security measures and trade facilitation within the region.
During the meeting, Collector Austria led pivotal discussions involving various esteemed figures, including the Regional Directors and heads of Region III. The discussion centered on fostering a potential collaboration between the BOC and other law enforcement agencies. The primary focus of these collaborative efforts revolves around bolstering border security and streamlining trade facilitation processes.
The discussions signify a significant stride toward achieving enhanced security and improved trade processes within the purview of the Bureau of Customs – Port of Clark.
