The Bureau of Customs–Manila International Container Port (BOC-MICP) has achieved a historic milestone after recording its highest single-day revenue collection amounting to ₱1.37 billion on August 28, 2025.

District Collector Rizalino Jose C. Torralba credited the record-breaking feat to the strong collaboration among MICP personnel, stakeholders, and partner agencies. He emphasized that the Port’s intensified monitoring of import transactions, strict enforcement of customs regulations, and the adoption of modernized systems have greatly enhanced collection efficiency.

Aligned with the directives of Customs Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, MICP reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthen revenue collection while ensuring trade facilitation and safeguarding national borders.
