CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Clark recognized its top importers and exporters for 2025 during the 2026 Stakeholders Awards held at a hotel inside the Clark Freeport Zone, highlighting the Port’s strong performance in revenue collection and trade facilitation.
The event underscored the agency’s continuing drive for compliance, efficiency, and partnership-building under Customs Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno and District Collector Jairus S. Reyes.
Plaques of recognition were awarded to trade partners whose consistent compliance with customs rules and regulations significantly contributed to the Port’s revenue growth and streamlined cargo processing in 2025.
Senior officials from the BOC central office graced the occasion, including the Deputy Commissioner of the Revenue Collection Monitoring Group, Atty. Arnel P. Alambra, Enforcement Group Deputy Commissioner PGGen Nolasco K. Bathan (Ret.), and Internal Administration Group Director John Simon, reflecting the importance of Clark Port’s performance within the broader national customs framework.
Commissioner Nepomuceno has consistently emphasized improved revenue generation, strengthened enforcement measures, and enhanced trade facilitation across all ports. Under this directive, the Port of Clark sustained its operational momentum in 2025, aligning local initiatives with national reform priorities.
District Collector Reyes, for his part, reaffirmed the Port’s commitment to transparent processes and active stakeholder engagement, noting that strong collaboration with compliant traders remains vital to maintaining efficient port operations.
Beyond the awards ceremony, the program featured the signing of a Tripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) among the BOC, Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD), and the Korean Community Association in Central Luzon. The agreement aims to strengthen coordination at the Clark International Airport gateway and promote cooperation in trade and community-related initiatives.
The event also included a ceremonial turnover of donated office equipment from the Port of Clark to selected schools under the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division of Angeles City. The initiative forms part of the Port’s corporate social responsibility efforts and support for local educational institutions.
A highlight of the ceremony was the launch of the Port of Clark’s 2025 Coffee Table Book, which documents the Port’s key milestones, operational achievements, and reform initiatives over the past year.
Through strengthened partnerships, sustained compliance efforts, and community engagement, the Bureau of Customs – Port of Clark continues to advance its mandate of revenue collection, border protection, and trade facilitation in support of national development.
