PARAÑAQUE CITY — Determined to prevent another destructive fire from catching residents off guard, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Parañaque has launched a comprehensive Post-Fire Analysis following a fire incident in Barangay BF Homes, signaling a stronger push for accountability, operational efficiency, and intensified fire prevention.

Under the leadership of Regional Director FCSUPT ROY RODERICK P. PAGUTO, DSC, and City Fire Marshal FSUPT ALEXANDER DALE Q. BAENA, the BFP Parañaque City Station is taking a closer look at the circumstances surrounding the blaze, examining possible contributing factors and assessing the effectiveness of firefighting operations.

This is no ordinary after-fire inspection.

The post-fire assessment is designed to uncover critical lessons from the incident, identify operational gaps, document actual observations, and determine what needs to be improved to ensure that firefighters are better prepared when the next emergency strikes.

With the supervision of Acting Chief of Operations Section FINSP DIOMATT D. BACARRO, the activity focused on evaluating the firefighting response and identifying measures that could further strengthen the city’s fire protection capabilities.

PAGUTO AND BAENA: NO ROOM FOR COMPLACENCY!

The leadership of Paguto and Baena underscores the importance of continuous operational assessment—not simply responding to fires, but learning from every incident to prevent future tragedies.

For BFP Parañaque, the mission goes beyond extinguishing flames. It means strengthening preparedness, improving response strategies, enhancing coordination, and ensuring that every firefighter is ready to protect lives and property.

Every fire incident must leave behind valuable lessons—not another opportunity for complacency.

The message is clear: PREVENTION MUST BE STRONGER, RESPONSE MUST BE FASTER, AND FIRE PROTECTION MUST BE MORE EFFECTIVE!

As BFP Parañaque intensifies its efforts, residents can expect a continuing commitment to safer communities through improved firefighting readiness, systematic evaluation, and stronger fire prevention initiatives.

Under Paguto’s regional leadership and Baena’s city command, BFP Parañaque is sending a strong message: every fire must be investigated, every weakness must be addressed, and every lesson must translate into better public protection.
